Ad Astra Area Aquatics is a YEAR ROUND USS competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to national competitor.

We offer training and practice squads for swimmers of all ability levels. It is our goal to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each swimmer to the best of his or her abilities.

One difference in our program compared to others - No Fundraising Required! Swim-A-Thon is the one program encouraged by USA Swimming that we will participate in once a year.

Over the past three seasons we have had many successes as an organization:

- We have had two swimmers participate in the USA Swimming National Meet in the past year and a half- the highest-level meet in the country
- We have had 3 swimmers qualify for the 2012 Olympic Trials
- We have had numerous individuals attend and score at the Midwest Regional Zones Meet and All-Star Meet - the highest-level meets for 14-Under Swimmers
- We have been the top placing team in town at the Regional Sectional Meet two of the last three seasons
- We were the top scoring team in town at this Summer's LSC (Kansas & Missouri) Championship Meet - Placing 4th overall and 1st in the medium team division
