Before Yale: Attended Lawrence Free State High School…Captain of team that won state senior year…High School All-American in 100 and 200 back, 200 and 500 free…Swam for the Lawrence Aquahawks and then Ad Astra Area Aquatics…National Qualifier in the 100 and 200 back…Valedictorian and National Merit Finalist.
